Top 5% Agent in the United States – Explained

January 5, 2023

I am in the Top 5% of all Real Estate Agents in the United States, according to residential sales volume nationwide. Licensed since 2003, my team has sold over 900 million in real estate. We have sold over 2,000 homes (counting buyer side transactions as well) in Oregon and SW Washington. We sell homes faster and for more. Our team has sold over 1,000 homes in less than 30 days on market and over 500 homes in their first weekend on market. #1 Portland Real Estate Agent to Sell a Home

January 27, 2021

Okay, so that’s a lot to claim and we’ll need to get more specific. I’ve been a licensed real estate agent since 2003, serving Oregon and SW Washington. For much of that time I’ve run the Stephen FitzMaurice Team, currently with the international phenomenon EXP Realty. My team members are the reason for my success in the Portland real estate market. Also, it helps that we charge less than the local or national average commission rates. Our home selling program max. charge is 4.25% commission and is less in some areas and circumstances, but never more. We also offer a customer-friendly cancel anytime contract for no charge. Then we top it off with what I believe is the best home...

Fivestar Professional Award Winner – 2021 to 2012

October 16, 2020

Fivestar Professional is a nationally recognized award given out for excellent customer service. The Fivestar real estate agent award is the largest and most widely published real estate award program in North America, covering more than 40 major real estate markets. Fivestar Professional surveys recent home buyers and home sellers each year across the country and gives out its awards to the top surveyed agents. I’ve won the Fivestar Professional customer service award every year since 2012. Less than 1% of Realtors have won the Fivestar Award for more than 5 years in a row. Fivestreet has increased its criteria over the years. In years past, Fivestar would give this customer service award out to over 7% of the best...

Number 1 Listing Agent in Portland, Oregon – 2019 Update

May 21, 2019

For three years running, Stephen FitzMaurice, Principal Broker in Oregon with eXp Realty, sold more listings in the Portland metro tri-county area (Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas Counties) than any other listing agent. There are roughly 9,400 real estate agents working in the same area. These home sale numbers come from our local MLS, the RMLS. Find the Best Portland Real Estate Agent Stephen believes that he is successful because of his customer first model. His real estate commissions are reasonable, 4.25% max. and his contracts are as easy as they come, cancel anytime with 24 hours notice for no charge. On top of that, he spends more (a lot more) than his competition to market his clients homes online so...

Stephen Fitzmaurice

Top 1% Real Estate Agent in the United States

February 22, 2019

According to Homelight.com the Portland real estate agents on my team in 2018 are ranked in the United States as: Top 1% Producers Top 1% Buyer’s Agents Top 1% Seller’s Agents Top 1% Negotiators Who is Homelight.com? Homelight as a company, matches home buyers and sellers to real estate agents (the real estate agents pay Homelight a significant fee). In order to match well, Homelight collects and analyses a ton of data. For example, they can tell if a seller’s agent sells a lot of condos verses regular detached homes (we sell a ton of both). They can tell how well the agent did in negotiations on the sell side, what the home sold for verse what it was initially...

Number 1 Listing Agent in Portland Oregon

January 30, 2018

We did it again! For 2 years running, we sold more listings in the Portland metro tri-county (Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas Counties) area than any other. There are roughly 8,800 Realtors in this same tri-county area. These listing sales numbers come directly from our local MLS, RMLS. How to choose a top real estate agent? There are many ways to determine who the best real estate agent is for you, but most will agree the top factors are: overall experience, sales record, and verified customer reviews. I’ll throw in one more, a real estate agent that doesn’t use his success record to charge top commission rates. I’ve kept my rates at a reasonable 4.25% commission max. Top Reviewed Real Estate...

Masters Circle Realtors in Portland

Proud Member of Portland’s Masters Circle of Realtors

December 27, 2017

PMAR (Portland Metro Association of Realtors) is the largest Realtor association in Oregon (as you might imagine). PMAR is the 30th largest Realtor association in the United States with over 7,800 members. They give out sales awards to Realtors in good standing with the Portland Metro Association of Realtors. These awards are called, Masters Circle, and have various levels to them. Masters Circle Award 2018-2014 I have applied for and earned the highest award the Masters Circle gives out, Diamond-Platinum. I’ve asked them when I should expect to receive my diamonds in the mail, but haven’t gotten a response yet (I think the Diamonds are symbolic!). Either way, I’m proud to accept this sales and good standing designation from the...
