To do some of the necessary leg work for you, we did an extensive search to find Willamette River riverfront property in Oregon along the Willamette Valley. We found a plethora of options from single-family homes to condos to floating homes in a variety of price ranges.

We start at Portland’s north end on Sauvie Island and head south along the Willamette River way down to Newberg. Then we cross the river and head back north until the Willamette River converges with the Columbia River.

Sauvie Island is located north of Portland in Multnomah County. We found several homes on the island’s southern border that runs along the Willamette River.

• SW Peach Cove Rd—Located in the Far West neighborhood, SW Peach Cove Rd. runs in all directions on the Peach Cove peninsula, with a small segment of the street devoted to riverfront properties. Not all homes here are as palatial as the mansion with a story at 32020 SW Peach Cove Rd, but they all offer easy river access.
• SW Isle Way Ln—Just south of SW Peach Cove Rd. is SW Isle Way Ln. with a small grouping of riverfront homes.

• SW Riverbend Dr—On the west banks of the Peach Cove peninsula, is a .2-mile strip of homes with the Willamette River just off the back yards, complete with boat ramps.

Willamette Riverfront Real Estate

Wilsonville, known as the gateway to the Willamette Valley, is a great choice for those who want to work in Portland proper, or at least have easy access to all its amenities, but enjoy the country lifestyle. Situated in Clackamas County with a small northern portion in Washington County, this lovely suburb boasts small-town charm.

There’s plenty to do and see in Wilsonville from the Oregon Korean War Memorial and public sculpture art program to the Family Fun Center and Middleground Farms. Movie theaters, golf courses, and parks provide space for entertainment and recreation, and of course, there’s plenty of biking and fishing, too. And whatever you can’t find in Wilsonville, Portland is just 17 miles north on I-5.

SE Portland Floating Homes

The Portland Rowing Club

The Portland Rowing Club began in 1879 with the intention of creating an athletic club for rowing members and a boathouse for storage on the Willamette River. Eventually, the focus turned to other types of water vessels, fishing, and houseboats. The original boathouse still exists, and the area now has 17 houseboats, 95 boat slips, a club house, and a pump house, providing a desirable living environment for many.
