Sell your Portland Home – Offer Received

This is a video I send out to all my clients when their home receives their first offer on Portland real estate market. We created an informative video series in order to preemptively answer common questions when someone puts their home on the market.

We encourage the seller to do a full review of the offer they received, as it includes closing dates, closing costs, possession date, personal property the seller might not realize can become a part of the sale, and much more. We also offer to create a net sheet for them based on the offer’s numbers. We remind them that the buyer will ask for repairs and encourage the seller not to accept an offer at the seller’s bottom dollar, to hold back around 1% of the list price in their mind to use – potentially – to negotiate requested repairs.

I decided to publish this video series (one video at a time) on my website in case it is informative for another Portland home seller.
