The results are in! Kami Price was again a top 1% Portland buyer’s agent in 2017 according to home buyer’s total sales volume and number of buyer represented home sales in the Portland metro area (Multnomah, Clackamas, and Washington counties) per our local MLS, the RMLS.

What makes a great real estate buyer’s agent?

  1. Experience. Licensed Broker in Oregon since 2004, Kami has had experience representing sellers in top local real estate teams since she started her career and has represented hundreds of buyers.
  2. Education. Kami Price is one of the most educated buyers agents you’ll find in the Portland metro area. Not only has she obtained a Masters Degree in Business Management, she also has earned numerous certifications in targeted fields. She has educational certificates in green home building practices, home pricing strategies, short sale and foreclosure negotiations, and is a certified negotiations master. She also earned her Principal Broker license in Oregon. All of her additional education has been focused on representing buyers with incredible skill.
  3. Excellent reviews. Kami has repeatedly earned the Five Star Professional award, which independently surveys recent home buyers for customer satisfaction.
  4. Availability. All of the above is great, but if the buyer’s agent is too busy and you can’t work with them, it doesn’t mean anything. Kami runs a small buyers team to ensure 100% availability to our home buyers. In the fast moving Portland real estate market, we need a small licensed team to be able to provide our clients with 100% availability. We can show our clients any home – any day. Kami’s focus is on her specialty, negotiating and winning the offer process for the buyer, providing them with expert advice through the home buying transaction. Specialization makes us stronger, enables us to provide better service at all stages of buyer representation.

What is a top buyer’s agent’s commission?

Typically you never pay your buyer’s agent. The seller pays both the listing agent’s and the buyer’s agent’s commission. Kami makes it a point to accept whatever the seller is offering. Even most for sale by owner sellers offer a buyer’s agent commission. In the rare case where a for sale by owner seller doesn’t offer any commission for any reason, Kami will work out a reasonable rate with the buyer. Buyer’s agent commission is not something we want our clients to have to worry about.

What My Clients Are Saying

You're looking to buy a house and reading reviews because this is a major decision. We entered the market to purchase a home very inexperienced and skeptical. We now own a house thanks to Stephen and his network. Stephen will be our first choice whenever we decide to buy or sell a property in the future.
