EXP Realty grew to 86,203 agents by the end of 2022.

In 2022, EXP Realty closed 397,138 transactions representing 159 billion in sales. Top Realty Company mover in slides and sales volume for the year according to a RealTrends report.

In the second quarter of 2022, Sanford reported that EXP Realty increased its revenue and market share to record levels while continuing to strengthen the company’s platform to provide even more outstanding support to its agents through world-class coaching and training while fostering a strong sense of community. EXP World Holdings’ CFO and Chief Collaboration Officer, Jeff Whiteside, reported that the company saw another record quarter back in 2022 with 42% revenue growth and returned $56M to EXP shareholders, a record to date. He attributes this to the company’s agility as it shifts and transforms to the challenging real estate market and the commitment to making operations more efficient for EXP Realty overall, as well as for its agents.

In the third quarter of 2022, the company expanded into New Zealand and completed the acquisition of Zoocasa, creating an exponential increase of Canadian agents, with the expectation of further expansion to an even more comprehensive demographic of agents and clients. EXP Realty’s management team also grew during this time as the company continues to lean into its primary strengths—innovation and agent satisfaction—and redefine how the real estate industry looks and works.

EXP Realty Growth in Agent Count and Sales in 2023

EXP Realty grew to 89,156 Agents as of the third quarter of 2023.

While the results for Q4 2023 aren’t out yet, EXP outperformed the market by 43% in Q3 2023. Although profits were in the negative for Q3, Glenn Sanford, Founder, Chairman and CEO of eXp World Holdings, said, “In a slower market environment where every transaction counts, eXp’s agents in the U.S. significantly outperformed the market during the third quarter. This outstanding performance speaks to the differentiated nature of eXp’s platform and the power of our unique, success-oriented culture.”
